After much discussion we have decided to remove the country specific categories, as it it seems it was causing confusion with some members.
You still have the ability to set the prices in your own currency.
We look forward to hearing from you with more comments and suggestions to keep the site the number one site to use for your auctions.

Many facebook users run raffles on their pages/walls however this is strictly against Facebook terms and conditions and if caught Facebook WILL close your page without warning.

Now imagine you have a page with hundreds if not thousands of likers and your page was to just get shutdown, all the hard work you have put in to build your page GONE !!!

The beauty of these auctions are they are very easily shared onto your facebook profile or page using the share button at the top of every page on the auction.

The advised way to run a raffle is this

Create a store on the auction (go to members area click stores and edit, there is an option to enable store, 3 store types available) Once your store has been created go to sell and choose SHOP (NOT SITE)
Create your listing/raffle
Each time someone buys entry to your raffle you will be notified by email and also it will show in sold items in your account, here you will see if the item is paid for and there will be an option to message the buyer, this is a good place to give them their raffle number.
The rest is down to you on how you make the draw etc, all we are doing is giving you the opportunity to run a raffle without getting the BIG FACEBOOK BOOT !!!

Tips

There is an option when making a listing to add a download, this can be used to provide your buyers with an entry ticket, something along the lines of "Confirmation of entry" a simple image file can be used for this, however this is not essential
Use the message feature in sold items to give raffle numbers to your buyers

Other auction sites do not allow raffles on them but here at Save Some Pennies we take a different view please read below for the rules on holding a raffle

RULES

Any raffle held on the auction site MUST be done in seller SHOPS, NOT on site auctions
Any raffle found on the site auctions will be deleted (you will be advised of this first as you may have made a mistake when listing)
